Heart & Soul 05:52
Heart & Soul Blues has got me finally in his grip Night falls down and surrounds me like a veil Time is crawling like a kingsnake on its way Friends turn away and I got no place to stay Lord I will be dreamin? somewhere on the clouds Wondering what our life will be all about Dreams I dream About heart & soul Blues will find me wherever lay my head And night's always falling when the daylight gonna fade And time is aways dangerous like a kingsnake on its way As long as love is with me gonna stand the test of time Yes I will be dreamin? somewhere on the clouds Wondering what this life can be all about Dreams I dream About heart & soul

Driftin` Apart Neonlights flickerin` Through a cities skyless street Coloring the cars driving by An` me I'm tryin` not to think about anything Man outside it looks like rain Deep in me it's freezin` cold Feels like I got a knife at my throat I just have to face the fact I'm back where I never wanted to be again We try to come closer But I can't help driftin` apart Well any cup of coffee Can be twist of fate On any evening any day What one calls fortune Someone else will call it pain My loss can be your again Even though the winds Sometimes may shift So far you have to stand its blasts How should I miss With a sharp tongue you ask What I have never, never known Don't you ever Dream about a new chance Or a different kind of life Maybe you lose when you start meditating So a wish becomes a curse And a silent thought a sin We try to come closer But I can't help driftin` apart

The Well 08:13
The Well I close my eyes Imagining a place Where it all begins Like a well Cool clear water runnin` Through my hands What a big river rising from this rill Some hole in the ground Mysterious spot Where you can hear newborn water sound A well of time Will it come back Like the rain Who's afraid of drownin` Who can stand the fear Who is used to swimmin` In a river of tears When we close our eyes To lay down at night We never know If we wake up again Through many a dream So many nights musing On being a ripple On the endless sea Everything goes by Make place for another Every beat is needed It's the rhythm of the world Will it come back Like the rain Who's afraid of drownin´ Who can stand the fear Who is used to swimmin` In a river of time

Castle on the Hill Under the pines I'll take a rest From cloudless sky and its beating sun A thousand times or maybe more I've tried to reach that castle on the hill But each try ends just like the one before No road seems to lead up to that hill I don't know What makes me lose my will And drives me to That castle on the hill So many roads and so many tries Too many people telling me too many lies The water's blue the water's wide But if I'll go there I will dive And it will tear me to its ground To sleepless night that know no sound I don't know What makes me lose my will And drives me to That castle on the hill

Circlin` Round a Sun I ask myself Why did I try To make you read my mind And let you see my soul While I usually keep it hide Where's the reason No more games like hide and seek Maybe it's because You're always searchin` for someone Who does really understand you Yeah, you know my name But you don't know who I am Yeah, you know my name But you don't know who I am Isn't it amazing That all we find is We all are like satellites Circlin` round a sun Never get nearer Always on the run Now that I've put my finger on it The heart will never rest Yes, now that I've put my finger on it My heart will never rest It's like bitches persuasion I'd better cross my fingers All quotations twisted For a minimum wage I'd better turn the page As quick as I can Go straight to hell Hey before all the bridges start burnin` I wish your way and my way Could be one and the same So if we always fail An` even if I never do you right Please hold me tight, tonight Yes you think you know my name But you don't know who I am Yeah, you know my name But you don't know who I am Isn't it amazing That all we find is We all are like satellites Circlin` round a sun Never get nearer Always on the run

It's All Gone I took a taxi just before it rained She sat on the backseat and she looked insane She said, boy I must have you seen before I said maybe girl but I forgot It's all gone but it all comes round again Raised from a view It's easy to tell God from bad and wrong from right While I learnd their morals They settled deep inside Tattoed in my soul Anchored in my heart At least became a part of mine Oh I wish I could drown it all In the good old father Rhine I left the taxi as quick as I could Her look in my eye and her words in my ear For a while was all I could see and hear And I prayed to the Lord I could say it again Even now you know better All your brain has realized Things aren't that easy It's plain to see Your conscience remains unchanged ang mighty Like a rock in the sea and it still haunts your poor soul Although you changed your mind Oh I wish I could drown it all In the good old father Rhine I took a taxi just before it rained Now I sat on the backseat and I looked insane The driver said boy where're we goin` I said I don't know man I forgot It's all gone but all comes round again

Waiting 07:27
Waiting In the sun the clouds and in the sky in every car that passes by From the moment I wake up at dawn To the night where I find no sleep There's a vision and it haunts my poor heart An` the waiting is the hardest part The waiting is the hardest part Time is the space between you and me How I wish it would pass by But it creeps, God it creeps In the traffic lights of the asphalt jungle In the steam risin` from the streets I see your eyes, I see your hair, I see your face And I cant't concentrate I'm going mad ´cause I wait too much Sixty seconds, sixty minutes, twenty-four hours seven days's a week, one and one is two Everything seems to be a perfect fit But me I'm alone And will you ever wait for me Yes the waiting is the hardest part The waiting is the hardest part Time is the space between you and me How I wish it would pass by But it creeps, God it creeps

Between Green and Blue While the earth moves She holds a heart With a smile against the sun And the sailor On his wooden ship Lost his course for what she's done An` the red one beatin` hopefully Falls down to the sea Down to its dark and soundless ground The lady she shivers For the first time she feels Her words must have hit him like a storm on the sea There is somethin` I've been always lookin` for Imagine somethin` Between green and blue An` the lady she lives In a tower by the sea Every day she's waiting for her ship to come On the sixth day of may Through a moonless night With the turning of the tide the ship runs ashore And the lady she hurries She runs to the shore But the boat is deserted And with the seagulls she screams Through many a dream She finds it's all true But she still hopes he'll come back out of the blue There is somethin` I've been always lookin` for Imagine somethin` Between green and blue
9.
Magnolia 02:54
Magnolia Magnolia walks and talks like spring If you listen you can hear a robin sing But if you look deep into her eyes It makes you feel like you're touching the sky All that you dream she holds in her hand In a minute all the world is at her command You feel uneasy when she comes to near But you're never quite certain if it's joy or fear Turn away, turn away, turn away You` never be the same

about

about

Schluff Jull Viersen, Germany

Jamrock from Germany -

"It`s true quality music!" urteilte das Magazin Relix über ihre Songs.

Mit ihrer Mischung aus tanzbaren Grooves, riffbetonten Rocknummern und lässigem Bar-Jazz-Soul beschwören Schluff Jull auf ihren Konzerten magische Augenblicke herauf. Und das in einem Genre, für die normalerweise Bands wie Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers oder The Band die Deutungshoheit innehaben.
